So there's loads of differences.

So we're not a society where people are all together.
There's huge differences in people.
And in my household, my father and my mother never ate the same food.
My father came from the north.
If he saw a fish and if he saw eye of fish, he would just like almost pass out.
He found, and my mother loved fish.
She grew up and was born near the ocean and the rivers.
And my dad was landlocked, never saw fish when he was growing up.
So there's huge difference with my parents.
But because I grew up in Calcutta, which is the food capital of India, best kind of food, you know, it was where, you know, so many cultures, you know, were there.
You know, the food there is incredible.
I didn't learn how to cook because I didn't have to.
When my marriage was arranged with my husband, who was teaching at Cambridge University, through an aunt, and my poor husband was like, you know, oh my God, I don't think I want to do it.
I convinced him overnight.
To cook?
No, to marry me.
I told him, I said, you know, you walk away from this, it's the biggest mistake of your life.
