I am on the fringe of this all-male Mayfair club, mostly white people, who are in this exclusive club like you have them in Britain, where women come in.
I mean, now, of course, the law has changed because the law says women are members as well.
But in hospitality, women are just guests who you sign in.
You know, the clubs that we have.
You sign a woman and you bring her in.
Someone has to vouch for you.
Someone has to vouch for you.
And if you now look at all the successful women, I've always said this, whenever there have been proved allegations of abuse in a kitchen, not a single Michelin star female chef has spoken up.
If you Google and you will see, it's just me.
The vouch stops there.
It's just me.
I've read full page articles about allegations, including some very prominent male chefs who said, you know, we don't want to hire women because when they get pregnant, they cannot pick up pots.
I was like, wow.
To say this, and every female chef who is seen as a leader of this industry, who has a Michelin star, the silence is deafening.
Why are you silent?
And this is our problem.
