It's gonna do this regression to the mean.

And so we try to quantify this.

And this is something we observe with, for instance, uh a benchmarking tool named deep

Sta bi, sta pi.

Um which is trained on proteins in general to predict femustability.

And um because it's not super confident into the nanobody sequence space, when we give nanobody to that one, it's gonna predict all of them as sick uh around fifty eight degrees, which is probably the mean of uh dataset they use uh as proteins.

Because nanobodies are known to be

Uh a bit more thermostable than I would say the average protein is around sixty-five degree.

Um can go up to ninety in one hundred degrees.

Um and proteins general a bit lower.

So yeah, you just put everything into a mean.

And so we also tried to quantify that, which is very um important.

That's a that's a very good question and uh extremely relevant for v its application.

We are uh on this held out test set around four or five degrees of uh inaccuracy.

Um if we look at the data we had, so sometimes some people have measured

melt the melting temperature for the same sequence.

So we have this data for around eighty-two cases where we have the same sequence multiple reported data points.
