So there was a guy who applied to us in the end of 2024 and,
under the pseudonym Mike King, gave us some federal law enforcement credentials.
And the web domain on his email was uspd.us, United States Productive Detail.
Doesn't exist, right?
You go to uspd.us, it's just a landing page with nothing there.
It really says like, sorry, this doesn't exist, but there's a US flag behind it.
And he had a bunch of different certifications, fake certifications, fake photo ID, law enforcement credentials, and he was trying to apply to work off-duty details in the area.
It didn't pass the stiff test for us right away, so we sent it to a retired FBI guy that we had on the platform and just said, hey, can you give us a quick scan for us?

He immediately goes, BS, like this guy's impersonating a Fed, report him right away.
We sent a full report to the FBI field office in Dallas and actually our local competitors in the Dallas market and go, hey, just so you know, this guy applied to our system.
We declined him.
If he applied to us, he probably applied to you.
They were applying, go, hey, thanks.
Great.
Sounds good.
And we kind of forget about it.
