What are home openers like for a player?
Well, think about at the start of last year, would they go 1-5, return to home, and the Yankees just beat them around in that home opener game?
And it led to the demise of the Derek Shelton era and the change to Donnie Kelly.
So we are close to a full year of Kelly being the manager of this team.
What is the biggest takeaway that you've seen in just his managerial style that's different from Shelton?
Yeah.
Yeah, even though it was a what?

But still, an egregious call that the umpire might actually have not been looking at the plate for.
Legitimately, I don't know how that happens, but it did seem like the first base umpire was not looking at the plate for the call and just kind of got caught flat-footed and was like, no, typically the batter doesn't actually swing, so that'll just be my call.
