What I did not know or what I did not have, I didn't have enough accumulative hours put in on perfecting the process. I think that my process was where it needed to be, or even if I even had enough time for my process to be where it needed to be.
And I was understanding and had the ability, as far as my capacity, to understand the process, to unlock the process, and then go after it, and just stay there, stay that course.
Did you attend the ceremony? Like I said, man, it's just a respected question for sure. Very emotional, very emotional day, very tough day for myself and my family, for everyone involved. One thing I can come out of saying how strong and how bold and how powerful Vanessa is, to stand up there the way she did, to give the speech the way she gave that speech, I commend her.
My heart is with her family still, with his three daughters that are still here, his wife, with his mom and dad, his sister. It was just... Very difficult day, obviously, celebration, but it's a difficult day for all of us. I appreciate it.
The plane that we were getting on, the ladies on the plane were making chocolate chip cookies. Oh, man. Oh, man. Yeah, so they were making them and bringing them because we had the same ladies all the time. You know, it was a party of six. You know, they were rotating. Every time they knew I loved chocolate chip cookies, they would get on and I would, hey. Soft, soft.
Soft with a little crispy edge. Perfect. Yeah, perfect. And I would get on and they already knew. They'd bring me two cookies and I would get to gambling with the guys and I got my cookies and we good. And then one flight I got on, I looked at them, and they looked at me, and I'm like, oh, that didn't look familiar.
But I asked him, I was like, do you, we got the, he was like, no, we're not allowed to, no more cookies on these flights. What? When Wade County had to leave and go to Chicago, I looked at the cookie situation. I was like, oh, shit, maybe it wasn't that bad.
Let's see Austin. Dan, one of the very first times I ever listened to your show, you told Ron McGill that you thought penguins were more closely related to fish than to birds, and yet I kept listening.
So if I'm chosen by the listeners to watch the NCAA Men's National Basketball Championship game with you and to do an in-studio visit, I will require us to do so in penguin costumes because I know you love that.

Yeah, I think actually, especially Dan Quinn has done a really good job of keeping us in the moment. Like, don't go beyond what is in front of you. He always says that, you know, the most important fight is the one that you're in. You know, don't be thinking about the next one, right? You got to earn the right to get to that one. And so that's kind of been the mindset and the emotional part.
Kind of connection to this week is, all right, this is the week. Focus, Eagles, Eagles, Eagles. That's all we're focusing on. This is the third time we're playing them. So for us, we're pretty familiar with each other. So that makes film study a little bit easier for us. But still the main focus is just getting through this game.
The rival definitely stands strong. I think it's more so because, you know, the rap that these fans have for Philly and that they, you know, you see all the videos and just how passionate and annoying and obnoxious these guys can be. And so I think that's where that stems from. I haven't been around enough. My actually family had a good experience.
