Two of those guys are a little unproven, don't have a lot of reps to go off of.
So I get they want to run the football, and they have to run the football, I feel like, to be completely successful.
It's just it makes you a little leery because we haven't seen a lot from these running backs.
Yeah, I mean, I think it's one of the most cliche things in football is that you make your biggest strides from year one to year two.
But I think it's also the truth.
And Quincy Williams, former Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker and former Murray State alum, had one of my favorite quotes when we talked to him about his rookie year.
He's like, I'm going to be honest, my head's in a beehive right now.
That's how he described being a rookie and trying to pick up the system and everything.
So you imagine that.
And he's on defense.
And Jeff, you can probably attest to this.
Yeah.
Us as defensive linemen, we had to learn some stuff, but it wasn't like the offensive playbook of all the motions and stuff.
We had it made a little more.
When you look at Travis Hunter, he had to learn the entire defense, and then also learn all these motions as well with Liam Cohen's offensive scheme.
So it was definitely a lot on Travis Hunter's plate and probably a lot more than he was accustomed to at Colorado.
So now that he's got a year under his belt a little bit, not only mentally but physically, yeah, you expect big things from him.
Well, and it's like I said last year, how many times did we, in the second half of the season, how many times did we say, man, I wish we had Travis Hunter on offense right now?
And then how many times did we say, man, I wish I had him on defense right now?
Especially that Bills game, right?
