I've experienced racism.

Well, sure.

When I was 17 years old, I was in the American Legion, puts on an oratorical contest every year.

And I know for a fact I was the best speaker.

And for the two years that I tried it, I made it to the semifinals.

And the reason that I lost was because they said that they actually didn't give a reason.

I came in second place to a white woman purely because she was white.

How do you know that?

Because I asked the judges for the scorecards, and we had the same score.

I'm sorry, I take that back.

I was actually ahead of her by one point, and they gave it to her because they said my speech was not long enough.

The length of my speech was long enough, which was a lie.

It was two seconds over the needed time limit.

So that's a direct example of racism.

And in fact, what is so interesting is I know it was racist because some of the people that put it on— Hey, hey, let me say this.

Right.

So how would you feel if it happened to your people?

All you said was that- You're so angry.

I'm not insulting you.

I'm saying that you didn't lay out shit.
