This is like Tumblr days.
And I love certain content creators.
But how I I first started gaining traction was sharing my nursing school journey, which was really random.
I didn't really expect it to go that way.
And also medical influencing was not what it is now.
like it wasn't it wasn't really figs wasn't really big back then yeah it wasn't really common for people in the medical field to share their life on social media because there is a a certain barrier that has to be respected because of patient privacy and certain things totally
So I kind of just shared my journey.
And then my nursing uniforms were Cherokee.
And they had noticed me and sent me a DM.
And they were like, hey, can we send you free scrubs in exchange for photos?
And I was like, so poor.
And I said, fuck yeah.
So I would get scrubs, post photos.
And then I kind of started getting traction.
And then they told me, I think I had like 300 Instagram followers, but a private account.
Like, hey, you have to make your profile public.
And I was like, oh, I don't know about that.
yeah because i went to a private nursing school and so they're super strict and then i did it and it kind of just slowly grew from there and i honestly i for years i only shared nursing stuff yeah a little bit of motherhood but not really and i feel like i thought that's only why people followed me and liked my stuff totally so i was mostly focusing on nursing and then i kind of started dabbling into things that brought me joy which is
fashion, skincare, beauty, and that stuff started doing better.
And I was like, okay, maybe people will like me just for me.
