And then when I signed with my management team, I was like, wait, what the fuck?
That's like my yearly salary in a month.
kind of focused on the positives for people that wanted to be a nurse or were in nursing school or were miserable in their job as a nurse.
Yeah.
Because I never talked down about the career because I really did love it.
But then after the pandemic, a lot changed.
And then I started getting...
I would be praised so much for focusing on the good.
Nursing students were so appreciative because they're like, every time I shadow a nurse, they're like, pick a different career.
It fucking sucks.
Don't do it.
And I was there to say, I do love it.
I just don't think we're treated the best.
But then it kind of flipped where people were like,
i think people would ask and i think i just got tired of seeing like the perfect cookie cutter beige mom content yeah i'm not saying that's a bad thing like i look at their stuff and i'm like honestly i praise you for having such a clean house and such and what seems like the perfect life that's just not me yeah
and i also think i saw just a lot of mom shaming for people that were speaking honestly about the struggles of being a mom and how hard it is and i was like i have a playroom full of the ugliest fucking rainbow toys you could ever see but my kids are so happy you know and like yeah i would show clips of my house or morning vlogs they're like thank you for not picking up the mess before you showed it yeah because i tried to be as real as i can and
even though there's hate that comes with that when i admit to things like yeah i do have a nanny twice a week or i do have house cleaners that help me every other week you know what i mean yeah but that's that's what works for our family and that's how we survive and we're privileged enough to be able to afford that stuff yeah but i feel like that honesty has gotten me really far totally and again like we talked about even though it come hate comes with that and that triggers a lot of people yeah at least i know i'm being authentic for real to what's happening behind the scenes
