It's just for me, this case should have been brought if it was going to be brought a couple of years ago.
I just think it's kind of stale.
I'm interested to see what the prosecution has that we don't know yet.
So, you know, Don, this book, The Moment, actually identifies a time when I was on CNN this morning with Allison Camerata and we were in John Berman.
And I was on in a segment with Dante Stallworth immediately after Polonius Floyd.
And it was back when we were doing TV from our homes.
My head was scruffy, had my beard, and I had just gotten out of bed.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And my twins were in the bed with me, and my daughter was upstairs.
Everybody was doing virtual learning.
And I heard Ben Crump and Thelonious talk about George Floyd.
And when it came to me, they asked me a question about the pain that I felt.
And I began to break down and cry because I was thinking about my kids and my daughter and what do I tell them being black in America and
You know, at that point in time, I think, maybe it's my youthful naivete, but I think we all thought that we were on the precipice of change in this country.
And when you look around, not only did we not make progress, but I would argue that we've gone backwards.
And whether or not you're talking about the 1,600 books that have been banned, whether or not you're talking about the assault on diversity, whether or not you're talking about the abortion laws in Arizona from the 1800s,
And so what I wanted to do was not only identify problems, but also talk about the solution and how we move forward.
Yeah, no, what I oftentimes say is that we have to, accountability is so important.
I mean, that is why you're good at your job, Don, because you hold everybody accountable.
No matter their political persuasion, what they look like, friends or not friends, you hold them accountable.
