I'm glad you mentioned that we were all at Duke this year.
I was only there for a cameo, but I'd love you to share with the audience some of the major trends that you heard that really stood out that are happening now.
Well, it speaks to what Joy was also talking about, that if you're sitting at a table, it sounds like the beginning of a joke, you're sitting at a table with three adcoms, and if they all have different ways of viewing the same idea of having a student join a cohort, they're all going to look at it differently.
So
AI is not going to know that at this point, right?
And being able to look at one's own story through a lens of philosophy or integrity or trauma, like whatever it is that it sounds like that would be super important.
I mean, that is one of the values of Agak.
I'd also like to start off with Arvind.
I'm going to pivot right now.
And we were talking earlier about how we help our clients prepare for video essays, which has been around for years now.
But we've definitely seen an increase in schools requiring them since COVID.
And even more since the explosion of AI, understandably, right?
Because it's live, like AI is not going to fake you at this point yet.
So what can you share with the audience about this?
Harking back to what we were talking about before with AI and the applicants have to be in the jungle.
This is a leadership school opportunity.
People are learning how to be leaders and they have to really be able to take charge of their own lives.
A student that wants to get these skills is also...
going to be out in the jungle and in this these times of uncertainty and strangeness and unknowing and mystery that that that's part of why the application is so important and that writing your essays and these interviews are so important not only for the candidate but for the schools to make sure that it's a good fit
right so this this job uncertainty some some people will experience it for sure some people will experience it that are not expecting that they're going to experience it and then some people won't experience it and or they won't experience it the way that they expect it and so looking at the whole process of applying and each of the different parts of it gives the student that flex of that brain muscle as we were talking about it gives
