We discussed it briefly at the executive committee and from staff's perspective, I don't think the timing is right to just give that blanket expansion to residential lands due to the low density designation of many of the lands that are in one half mile, their low five single family residential neighborhoods.

There is a tool in the county land use plan currently to be able to increase the densities on those residential lands as we sit today, and that's policy two point sixteen point three.

So it's not that they're not without a tool to use to increase the density, but I think we should consider it as part of the um, you know, as we review Broward next and we update the plan.
