Yeah, we had an amazing family.

Yeah, well, that's right.

So just because you're not financially rich doesn't mean you're not lucky.

So we just, you know, I was incredibly blessed as a kid.

And just, yeah, my parents are just great people.

And having my mother's family and getting to know them, because she comes from 11, there's 11 brothers and sisters, there's 12 including her.

Wonderful.

And one of them's gone to live in Germany and her children have never experienced...

growing up in the Pacific and have lost it.

So I'm grateful that I have that with my beautiful cousins who live in Kiribati.

And of course, it was the Gilbert and Ellis Islands way back then.

And yeah, I'm just so lucky.

And yeah, just gosh, it's a very magnificent childhood.

Yeah, you know, that's such a good question.

And yes to that, the fact that I have been surrounded by goodness and I'm very, very lucky to have a great family.

And I've also got a group of people, and this comes to your second part of that question, who I trust and will call on just to talk things through because I trust their opinions and I trust their just common sense and everything, really.

And they're good friends, but it's not necessarily that.

It's more that they're just great.

I trust them to talk things through with, right?

So kind of colleagues, but they don't necessarily work for TVNZ and a couple are not journalists.
