And then so I try and make light and shade so that I want people to laugh, have a good laugh.

And, you know, the Pacific's a quirky place, right?

So, you know, and just flying with the Air Force as well, using the Hercules toilet, you know.

I thought that I should give some details about that.

Just in case you find yourself on a Hercules.

You'll know what to do and what not to do.

That's it.

And so I just think I tried to make it funny and that is a big part of my life is laughter.

I love laughing and I love being joyful and so I try to infuse that into my books so that people wouldn't come away seriously traumatised.

I have these little things, and I keep them in different places depending on what they are.

And it was when I was writing the book that I found –

I thought, oh, I'm sure I've got these things stalled away.

And sure enough, there was all these little dockets and there was like even a little ticket into Luxor, some museum.

And I kept all the things.

And I do, I like to keep things like that.

And I found, yeah, with people as well.

So I've kept things from my nana and dad.
