So it's important when something is corrosive and really destructive that it stops.

And um, you know, instead of punishing someone, what you're gonna say a c a consequence is not it's the natural outcome of what would occur in a healthy way.

So if somebody let's say I'm walking down the street and I used to live in New York City and you know this happened and somebody decided to just

verbally chew me out and expletives and you know got in my face and maybe maybe they didn't have m medication that day.

I don't know.

You know, bump you bump into somebody on the subway and they're just gonna rip your head off, right?

And you just hope they don't have a gun.

Right.

And

You know, you're like, I need to get off the subway car, I need to step away from this person, I need to walk away.

You want to distance yourself from that because it's not safe to stand there and take it, right?

So distance and

Moving away so a an expl uh an example is if you have asked somebody or shared your com your boundary a couple of times and they're still not getting it.

Then you might want to add a consequence.

You might want to say, along with the love sandwich.

So, you know, if you if you if we're going to a sporting event again, I'm going to drive.

And if you don't want me to drive, then we're going to go in separate cars.

Yeah.

Okay.

Simple.
