If I've been intricately involved in lobbying for and and and and see and help nudge along significant plans affect our trails.

These are all the significant not not just these are significant pieces of who I'm a grandfather.

We had our uh we had all three of our grandkids from two family sleepover last Friday and then Sunday uh the two grandsons did and for the first time ever that they've had problems sleeping in the same room.

And they did it here.

The mother came over the next day uh to to pick them up and she saw that they'd slept in the same room.

She said, Wow, how'd you guys do that?

So I'm chair of the Pacific Crest Trail Association.

I got many opportunities to speak.

And one thing I was hyper aware of, this is not all about through hiker.

This is about the uh that is just the tiniest tip of the iceberg, and they're not gods.

This is about folks at high section, weakenders, this is someone who picnics there, someone who drives by and literally sees a little sign, I'm crossing the Civic Crest Trail and they feel for a moment the magic.
