Well, we have been doing it for almost twenty years and
Uh we had announced twenty twenty was going to be our last year 'cause it at some point, you know, we do get a little bit older and at some point uh uh it's it it is time to move on in twenty nineteen.
We literally had over thirteen hundred people stay at our house.
Uh thirty five to forty five a night for close to ninety days.
That's a lot.

And we never wanted to be bad.
But on March fifteenth, twenty twenty, with over twelve hundred people signed up.
uh the whole COVID world collapsed on us.
I remember it was six o'clock and we looked at each other having consulted with doctors and
And said, we just can't do this.
We we'd already we'd gotten uh uh uh sneeze bars set up and and industrial grade hand washing stations and it just became obviously it was impossible.
We sent on email at six o'clock that night Sunday.
Right, they banned travel from Europe.
We had people still a father
father and uh his son
in Belgium, twelve year old.
They'd gotten on the plane the day before the uh the uh the full band and they showed up in our front yard and all we could do was stand twelve feet away from 'em.
