I was a scrawny, I'm sure he's sometimes annoying.

Uh young man.

But these guys these guys taught me two things and didn't realize literally until my uh uh years later, my twenties, how special they were.

And one they taught me to feel at home in the outdoors.

You take me right now and pop me down anywhere, middle of the woods, middle of the desert, whatever.

And I largely feel at home.

Uh and I didn't realize that

Everyone you know, everyone didn't didn't have that skill.

Everyone doesn't feel that

And the second thing they taught me was to like myself.

Very, very special things.

So s ever since then I've been a backpacker.

It's sum you know summertime looking ahead and uh where to go out, who to do it with.

The true us, Fro and I, we never had a first date.

We had a first backpack.

And then I went off to law school and then she came up and followed me.
