And to have somebody else come in and just read the conclusory paragraph is really dissatisfying from a from a legal perspective.
I think if I'm the judge, I look at that and I don't even consider that as evidence because not the right person was there to talk about it.
If we're going to get to the point where we're just submitting documents for a preliminary hearing and that's the sum total of what we're going to do, why are we having a preliminary hearing?
Why not just file a motion to have this guy bound over for trial and attach your records to the request and then have the judge just read the report?
If you're going to introduce the report, you need to have somebody there that can talk about the merits of the report, the contents of the report, some sort of specialized medical knowledge, because we don't know what kind of autopsy was done.
We don't know when it started.
We don't know what it ended.
We don't know who was there.
We don't know actually what was done to evaluate.
Did they take x-rays?
Did they do a CT?
Did they do an MRI?
Did they, you know, as is common, did they cut him open in the back and look at the back of his neck?
That's not an unusual procedure.
Or did they just dig around?
Like, we have no idea what happened.
No idea whatsoever.
And so as far as I'm concerned, they didn't even produce a dead body, really.
They didn't have a treating physician.
They didn't have an ER physician.
