Like is the beginning of the week?

different from the end of the week or mornings versus afternoons and just making sure parent you know as a parent that you feel comfortable reaching out and asking those questions to a teacher.

Um I would also say it's important to set up a face-to-face meeting because things can be kind of interpreted differently through the phone or through email.

So having a face to face meeting even before coming in to observe in the classroom could be very v beneficial.

And this is also a great way for the teacher to show the classroom environment to the parent and really show it through the lens of their child.

So if I have a parent come in, I'm able to show the classroom to that parent.

and really walk them through the school day saying this is where your child sits during this part of the day or I noticed that when they have choice seating time, your child loves to sit over here and just really um letting parents see that environment before they come in to do maybe an observation for the day.

So definitely reaching out sooner rather than later, hopefully feeling comfortable and and knowing that the teacher is there to help and support and that as teachers we do want to know, we want to know those concerns so that we can start thinking about ways to support the child and the parents.

I am so I I'm so happy that the Tilt community exists now.

I think it's so important.

You're exactly right.

This does need to be talked about more.

And I really want parents to feel empowered about talking to teachers and really working as a team with those classroom teachers or other support at the school.

And I just really want parents to know that as teachers, we do care so much about every single child's education.

education and that's why we're there.

And we wouldn't go in every morning doing what we're doing if we didn't care.

And I know so many parents um understand that and appreciate it.
