And just being so open and honest has to be the basis of that teamwork.

Yeah, and I'm grateful that I work in a district that allows that.

So I would encourage parents to reach out to the classroom teacher and just ask, you know, is it possible for me to come spend the day with you or even part of the day?

And just ask and and I think more than likely

teachers would be happy to have them and I think it would be um a great experience for everyone.

And I really do love looking back on the day and having those discussions with parents on asking them their opinion.

I mean, 'cause you're you're the parent, you know your child best.

So I love hearing, you know, um, parents' perspective of is there a different way that you think I could have, you know, approached this or something that works better for you?

And it it's it really it's a great experience.

And I had some parents that come that they'll come more than one day a year, different points in the year, because that's another thing for parents to realize is that kids change so much during different times of the school year.

So um depending on when there are school breaks, like if there's a long holiday break, then behaviors can be different.

Or from the beginning of the year to the end of the year, there's such drastic change.

So that's another important piece is maybe observing different points in the school year.

Yeah, definitely.

Um, Debbie, I think so many parents feel the same way um that you do, like you just mentioned.

And I think so many teachers feel this way as well.
