I didn't quite get that right.
So I worked out Comp 101.
Maybe it wasn't for me either.
And then I did like a couple of Māori papers and physical education papers and education papers.
And I went...
actually, I quite enjoy this.
And I went, oh my gosh, I'm going to be a teacher like my parents.
I don't want to just be normal.
But it has been one of the most amazing, I love what I do.
And when I say I love what I do, I haven't taught for the last three years, but I have been doing some tutoring one-on-one with kids to try and keep connected, which has been really, really cool.
Sadly, I've had to kind of stop that.
But my parents are amazing.
Like,
My dad's a bit of a cool, calm cucumber.
He's very inspiring and has been an amazing mentor to me over the years.
And I know he very much so has been to a lot of the boys that he's been involved with within the rowing programme, within a school setting, even with my son and his friends.
He's just a really insightful person.
He's a passionate person.
person give out of his time like relentlessly so is my mum my mum would give the shirt off her back for you and she cares deeply about all of her students um she makes me giggle she looks after the refugee group at school I had to book an early time because she had that blocked out for the afternoon
