Now, I don't have medical insurance.

So this was now heading more towards November.

at this point in time.

So I'd been through all the process with the GP, got to November.

Mum was like, nah, I'm going to find someone to do a colonoscopy now.

So she went for Christmas and spent $5,000 on a colonoscopy for me.

And I literally had gone and had the meeting with the guy

about it prior to going and playing my little girls, my little cricket team.

And I got to cricket and I just burst into tears and I was like, fuck, I think something's really wrong.

I don't know what's going on.

Anyway, did I have a blinder?

I hit so many sixes with my little yellow plastic bat that day in my tutu.

I had to harness that anger and frustration that I had about what was going on and the uncertainty, and it made me a really good cricketer for about 20 minutes, which was amazing.

So yeah, moving on from that, then I went and had a, the day after school finished for the year is when I got booked in for my colonoscopy.

So while everyone was having their knees up at school, I was at home drinking the poo juice and having to stay like a metre from the toilet until the next day.

Went and had the colonoscopy, woke up in Braemar to, well, I didn't wake up, I was kind of awake anyway because they don't completely put you out, but I'd had fentanyl and some other stuff.

And I had two nurses standing over my hospital, my bed, and they were the colorectal nurses from the hospital.

And when they'd found a seven centimetre tumour when they were in there, so they knew instantly they'd found something pretty dodgy.

They found a whole pile of polyps as well, which they had to take away and send off.

So I kind of came out going, what the hell has just happened?
