Brilliant and very personal question, Jim.

So I think I realized it from studying the lives of others.

So when we were working with leaders all over the world, I was like, you're brilliant at leading your work and you have a success criteria for the project which you're running or the recipe you're having for dinner, but you don't actually have it for your life.

And we'd say at Giant, everyone is a leader.

I was like, how many of us actually stop to set

like success criteria for our own lives.

We wouldn't lead our businesses in the way that we often lead our lives, which is accidentally.

And through all my reading, there is this brilliant quote, which like stood out and is the core theme throughout the whole of Alive by this amazing lady called Edith Edgar, who was a Holocaust survivor who studied under Viktor Frankl.

And she says, our greatest human freedom is the power to choose.

So when I created Alive,

I was like, wow, I get to choose what I want my life to look like.

And then my life personally started falling apart through like a series of like, it was like a series of dominoes.

If you imagine it as like faith, finances, all of the things, everything started crumbling all at once through no fault of my own.

And I was like, oh, wow, Becky, now you have to use the alive tools on yourself.

You have the freedom to choose what you would most love your life to look like.

What do you want it to look like?

And I firmly believe the hardest question that someone will ever ask is, what do I want?

Because I realized I'd got to where I was in my life by following all the oughts and shoulds and all the scripts of what everyone else thought I should do.

But I was like, what do you want, Becky?

Like, what does it look like to lead your own life?
