Yeah, so like a lot of the other commodities right now, sugar is on the weaker side of things.

So that's been difficult for us as growers to, you know, continue to try to make a profit on that.

So things are tight right now in the sugar market and in the sugar beet market.

So, yeah.

Yeah, definitely.

There's been years where the grains have been tougher, but the sugar beet market's been good and vice versa.

You know, they kind of... But right now, both are kind of on the weaker side.

So that's been difficult.

And, you know, it's not like sugar is just in sweets either.

You know, sugar is in a lot of different foods and whatnot.

And so...

you know things that nice thing too about sugar in the u.s is sugar in the u.s is family farmers it's grown ethically and responsibly we're like you can't always say that for sugar that's imported right so like we don't produce enough sugar in the u.s right now to meet the demands of the u.s so the rest is imported you know so it's important to keep our sugar industry in the u.s going what are your ideas

So personally, I kind of like the mentality of like steak and potatoes for supper and slice apple crisp in the fall.

A little moderation of everything.

Yeah.

You bring up a great point about fructose, sucrose, glucose.

That's another kind of sugar.

We all kind of forget.

They're all types of sugars, but table sugar is sucrose.
