Lord Jesus, we come before you.
And God, we just thank you for this idea of surrender.
But God, the idea can be very, very hard for us to grasp when we have so much around us and so many distractions and so many cares and worries and so many things, God, that truly we can control, that we can do.
But ultimately, you're asking us to just let go of all of it and just to run into your arms and fall into you.
And God, it's hard.
It doesn't seem like it's that hard to do, but it is hard.
And so I pray over my sister.
I pray over myself.
I pray over all of us who are just carrying these burdens and desiring a child so deeply, Lord, but that somehow we could fall into your arms and just rest and completely let go.
and let you take care of it.
I praise you, God, that you are going to do just that.
I pray over my sister's heart.
Help her to let it all go and give it to you.
We pray these things in your holy name.
