You know, and what woman doesn't deserve just to be the woman that they are without them having to then take their life just for stupid reasons.
It's just horrific how this constantly just keeps happening.
Yeah, look, when women come to me, most of them go to Peter, but when they do come to me, I do revert them back to Peter because Peter does do specialised, you know, Zoom calls or written stuff.
But because I have that experience also being one of the coercive control survivors,
I do believe that that intervention young in age is critical because I do believe that what young men see from their own mothers, they think it's okay to be that way.
So we need to start planning that intervention at a young age because that's where it really does happen.
Like I'm not saying it happens all the time because you do have people exceptional like Peter that break from that pattern.
It is.

It's like a childhood.
You just watch it and you just think this is normal.
Yeah.
This is normal to behave this way towards your partner.
Yeah, yeah.
You would think that as a child growing up, what you see is normal and then you carry it on.
To break that pattern takes a special type of person.
A lot of men won't seek help because to them either it's embarrassing for them, they don't think they've got a problem,
But you've got to know that you're not doing the right thing.
You've got to know that what you witness as a child is not right, that it's what you've been brought up into.
But I do believe that there is a place for these men, but for a man to put his hand up to say, yep, I'm guilty and I need help.
