I think that was my first venture into fantasy science fiction.

And the world building that she had in particularly that first book, but the ongoing Dragon series was just incredible.

Tony Jordan's The Fragments.

Absolutely love that.

So again, she's an author in the Sue Grafton vein.

She also has a female crime protagonist.

And again, she started writing

in the 80s, and her series has come right through to the present day.

So the most recent one I read of hers was Fallout.

And so that was just a beautifully plotted book, and I think it's great just to see those characters sustained over such a number of years.
