So I had Molly's story long before I had Alex, and I was looking for a way to bring Molly's story to life, I guess.

And then when I had discovered Alex and John, and they fitted so beautifully in and helped me tell Molly's story, I really thought that that was going to be it for them.

And then they're kind of like those friends that just always have great stories that you invite to dinner parties.

And so I'd be looking at a painting or have this particular idea and suddenly Alex would be in my head saying, hey, did I ever tell you about the time that, I'd be, well, actually, no, you didn't.

Let me just get in front of the computer and you can tell me all about it.

So Alex has just sort of developed into a character in her own right.

But having said that, I do have a couple of other protagonists who are sort of sitting in the back of my head.

One of them has been waiting a long time.

He's

seated at the wheel of his car waiting for me to get into the passenger seat because he has a story to tell me and a place to take me.

But they've been very patient, just waiting while I sort out Alex's business.
