I do.

I have a lot of hopes.

First, I hope it's a compelling read and I hope they, you know, turn the pages and enjoy doing that and enjoy the writing.

But I hope that

people who have been through something like this, the sudden loss of a relationship, you know, that may not come with any explanation that they feel seen and understood.

When I went through it, I just felt very isolated and alone and felt a lot of shame.

And when I, when modern love came out, I did hear from a lot of people, mostly women, but, but, but men too.

And they, they,

it really it meant something to them to see me talk about it and in turn them writing to me felt made me feel less alone so i hope that happens i hope that people who haven't been through something like this uh really you know get a sense of what it might feel like and i also hope you know there are other themes about not handing your finances over to your partner there are

things about moving away from your passions and your interests and dividing and conquering in a marriage where sometimes you can get mired in childcare and lose a lot of your ambition.

But I think the main thing is that I hope that it encourages other women to tell their stories and to feel like they have a voice and that there is value actually in the telling of it.

And that, you know, if there was more of that, I do think we would all be better off.
