And I was watching this as my mate had left.

And then as I started thinking about the book and the five sections, I thought, God, could this work to really break up this essay that I wrote into parts and use it?

And it felt like it was a good fit.

I started to go too far and like started naming the chapters after different things.

But I got really deep into osprey knowledge things to experts on the island.

And then I had to stop myself.

I said, that's just too much.

People don't want to know that much about the ospreys.

You put that very well, because it was a voice that was in my head for decades.

It really was.

And he probably said it.

I'll just say the context.

I was in a seminar my freshman year of college.

I submitted my first short story.

I had written all through high school.

And this senior in the seminar context said that it was terrible.

I couldn't write.

I had no talent, essentially.

And I believed him.

He probably didn't think about it for 30 seconds afterwards.
