Quite presumptuously, I thought, after the race.

There's no sabotage going on.

And a disconnect between what you feel on the inside as a driver and a part of the competitive equation and what you see on the outside.

Formula E races on much smaller tracks.

You could make the argument that if you wanted to make this Formula 1 work, don't come to Spa, don't go to Suzuka, don't go to Silverstone, probably don't go to Monza.

Basically, any proper cathedral of speed competition

pure brilliant legendary formula one track chuck it in the bin vegas actually as one of the new ones probably won't work because it's basically a drag strip on the strip so it's kind of like they can they've got uh an archaic calendar a mix of old and new and then a formula is just not yeah not built for those tracks it's not enough energy

on the overall performance.

Anthony's cooked him and all of this but the thing that Russell's had and has had not just for this weekend but last weekend or two weeks ago at Silverstone I should say is something happening all over the place and will be happening at times where we won't have spotted it so it's so prevalent

that it kind of completely messes with your perspective of who's doing a good job and who isn't.

Yeah, I actually broadly agree with that.

Andres Seda talked on Saturday after qualifying about how the system is not closed loop, by which he means you can't go into the weekend going, we know if we put these inputs into the power unit, it will perform in this way and then it will repeat itself identically, lap after lap after lap after lap, provided something doesn't break.

It's this machine learning AI element that is learning on the job, adjusting what it does based on what happens out on track that is absolutely confusing the hell out of every single person in Formula 1, including the people who make the power units.
