And and you know, it's going to be a good opportunity for players who want to ascend into roles, whether it be on special teams or in in-depth roles on the 53-player roster, you know, to that it's going to be critical.
And I think we're going to get some good weather, uh, knock on.
Wood tomorrow.
So it it still while it will not be uh, you know, what we saw in the joint practice with all the stars on the field, I I think there's gonna be if you're a fan of either team, there's gonna be a lot to be gained uh because there's gonna be starting spots and roster spots potentially on the line.
Yeah, I I think the biggest winner was the Bengals offensive line because they're like, listen, we're not as bad as we've looked throughout camp because Dexter Lawrence did at Chicago too.
Uh, you know, that Dexter, I I'll be honest, I think there were a lot of question marks of whether what kind of player the Bengals were getting.
When you look at his numbers last year, just half a sack.
The advanced metrics weren't as good as they'd been earlier in his career when he'd been considered one of, if not the best, defensive tackles in New York.
But in talking to
To him since he arrived in Cincinnati, you definitely get the sense that, you know, he wants to show people that, you know, prove to himself that he's still the guy.
There's a high, high level, high bar that he has for himself personally.
But I think there is an extra edge to him, like there is on this team, to say, listen, we we feel like we've we've been better than we showed uh it previously.
And you feel that with Lawrence, you know, he's been in, and the the phrase the Bengals used all offseason was.
force multiplier.
They want people to come in and exponentially help those around him and help the team.
And Lawrence has fit that bill.
And you know, if you're Chicago, that's what you're hoping, you know, that offense, especially Caleb and you talk about Colson Loveland and Roma Dunzane, some of the other players they've really invested in, you want them to have that same impact in Ben Johnson's offense.
And I think Dexter coming in uh has been maybe a little bit better than advertised if we're being honest.
So I'm very curious to see what it looks like when we get to week one.
Yeah, I it th that's it's a really good question.
