I have like really been letting myself simmer in nostalgia recently, especially like like sometimes I'll get like a pang of homesickness.
And like it's a little different because.
OK, so.
It used to be that, like, I could go back to Alberta.
It'd be, like, a three-hour flight from L.A., but now I'm in New York and it's far.
And, like, I don't get to see, like, family as often.
And, like, I haven't been to the town that I grew up in in, like, two years now.
And I'll, like, sometimes find myself, like, scrolling through my camera roll for, like, literally hours.
And it's almost like a paralyzing feeling.
And, like, the way nostalgia feels is it's kind of like –
warm and cozy but at the same time like a little sour because you know you can never get it back um like what's that what's that quote you can go back but no one will be there like you can really relish in things that are nostalgic and you can even like cosplay
or like role play being in it.
