Like you can go back to places that like meant something to you, but you'll never be able to like recreate the feeling.

You'll never be able to get all the people that made it so nostalgic there.

And I think the antidote to nostalgia or like paralyzing nostalgia is knowing that

The moment you're in right now, you'll be nostalgic about one day.

And, like, a time 10 years in the future, you'll be nostalgic about 20 years in the future.

So, as much as it feels like the past times are the good old days, I think I even, like, really fall into this trap just, like, specifically, like, with the internet.

Like, really romanticizing, like, a pre-AI internet.

Like, the internet that I fell in love with.

And, like, I know...

I look at sometimes what I do as like, like the landscape of, I mean, like a content creator, blah, blah, blah, has changed so much that sometimes I think like, oh, this isn't like what I signed up for at all.

And I get nostalgic about like when I first started and it was like purely just for fun and there was like no like people that had entire companies running their like YouTube channel and shit like that.

So like,

But then I realized that's like not productive and it's like good to like, you know, remember it fondly, but not like rely on it or have it as a crutch.

So I guess just know that like the present is just as important as the past.
