And yes, like petitions work here and there.

But I think we're also increasingly in a time where politicians can give two bucks about like signatures on a change.org, especially if the politician is receiving those signatures from a political party that they are actively fighting against.

So I think another big hurdle is finding ways of change that mobilize better than a change.org petition.

Not to discredit them completely.

I think they do work sometimes here and there, maybe for more like targeted and specific issues, but sometimes they can be performative.

Anywho, this was also, this was not me shitting on like any format.

I do think like if you can do what you can do and the weight of the world is not squarely on your shoulders, but what you've done, but what you do with what you've done for others.
