and i of course ate shit uh when water skiing and water went directly up my nose and i could feel it literally rubbing up on my fucking brain membrane or that thing nasal membrane that connects the brain whatever and and i remember i got the sniffles that night and i was like

And literally, I had just like heard from another person that their like family member died of like a brain anemia.
And mind you, there's like 50 cases in the U.S.
per year.
So the odds are 50 divided by 330 million.
And I still for like literally until last week, I like lifted the weight off of my head.
And I was like, wait, I had this like low simmering anxiety for the past two weeks because I thought that I had a brain-eating amoeba.
But the incubation period had passed, but I never just like took stock of that, that I'm actually completely fucking fine.
But actually, I've been good.
Like, since my infamous rabies scare, actually, I had another, well, I can't even say where this rabies scare was because it's, like, a thing that's coming out in, like, October.
So, come October, I'll tell you about another fucking rabies scare, and you'll say, who gives a shit?
