And that's not just because selfishly, it's my favorite pitch to watch.

Um look, it's nice to have the the pure up and down movement, but you would take more movement, right?

Like is it is it bad if the pitch moves more?

And I think that guys with that that talent who have just really one really standout pitch and also really know how to locate it.

Um I think if you just have one standout pitch and you're not

I throw a good fastball and we see what happens.

Uh, that doesn't always work.

But Cantillo combines like good pitch with good idea of how to use the pitch.

And yeah, he he pitches like basically entirely around the curveball, which is not something you see a lot of uh these days.

If you look at any of the various like ways of modeling how good everybody's pitch is, he has like

You know, a bunch of bad pitches and then a bright red curveball.

Uh, because it it's the best thing by a mile.

Pitchers in baseball don't throw curve balls anymore.

They're they're one of the least thrown pitches and he throws it a third of the time.
