Um yeah, there's there's a lot of good things about running a baseball team and the angels made a ton of money.
Uh I would not put

I think just because baseball was different then.
I think that if you look back at this, you know, Moreno bought the Angels in 2003 for like 200 million bucks.
And when he gave Pooh's a 250 million dollar contract a decade later, uh so he was offering a contract larger than he'd paid for the team.
Which is pretty crazy.
Uh, but in that same year, two different teams sold for about eight hundred million dollars.
So really he quadrupled up in like a decade.
Um that was that was the big initial push, is that sports teams were too undervalued uh at the beginning of the twenty first century and the sports explosion just uh just lifted everything.
Uh and from there it's it's really taken off.
And I think that's that's one interesting thing is that they were early on this idea of like pouring more money into it.
And that worked really well.
