I want to see him

what was it, four years ago when he broke into the scene, burst onto the scene.

I want to see that Jude Bellingham.

I want the nation to fall in love with him again because I feel he's had a little bit of a frosty relationship with them over the last year or two, hasn't he?

And his goal today was absolutely fantastic.

I think Thomas Tuchel did very well to bring him off with, what, 10 minutes to go.

He got a nice little round of applause, a nice little standing ovation from the fans.

A bit of love, wasn't it?

And that's all he needs, I think, sometimes because

Like you just saw there, he's a match winner.

He's a world-class player when he's on form.

I don't like seeing him drop onto our 18-yard box.

I hate it, in fact.

But the odd occasion he does do it...

he always gets the ball and runs away with it straight through the heart of the midfield because what it does is, what it makes the opposition do, Croatia, they're going, that's not my man, I shouldn't, I don't need to track him and then he's into the midfield and then the midfielders go, well he's a striker, I don't have to track him either and then he's into the forward places and everybody's all over the shop from it but he's good enough

to do it, isn't he?

And as a defender, it's horrible.
