I got the impression today that because he had scored his two goals, I think he really enjoys dropping deep.

I think he really enjoys dropping onto the 18-yard box and helping the team out because he's captain and he's the team, everybody loves him.

He was like, oh, it's a bit of my time now.

He enjoys showing everyone how good he is.

I'm going to do what I want to do now.

I've already scored my two goals.

I'm in credit for the game, yeah.

I'm going to drop deep and do what I want to do just for a little bit.

And that's what I feel like he did.

I'd love to see the running stats from the game tonight.

I think we would have outran Croatia massively today.

I thought the energy from the get-go, from that first half, I thought we were on top and we were outrunning them.

The overloads, the overlapping, we were doing it all over the pitch, weren't we?

And it was lovely to see.
