And the thing that would concern me maybe even more than that is Mercedes as a team this year have brought the second least upgrades on the grid.

It's only Alpine that have brought less so far this year.

It makes me think...

that Mercedes are being quite patient and they might well have upgrades up their sleeves if they need them.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are holding back a little bit on a duo upgrades.

And also, if they can get away with not really upgrading this car much more and still winning the titles and putting all of the investment in 2027, they'll make that work.

That's what they want to do first and foremost.

I tell you, it depends how many races we have this year, but we've had 11 races now, right?

And I distinctly remember last year, I distinctly remember in that I've got this tweet bookmarked, Flavio Priatore wanted to take podiums at 50% of the races this year.

So they're currently on one out of 11.

So I'm pretty sure they have to be like perfect the rest of the year in order to meet that target.
