Yeah, he filed a lawsuit against Casey Anthony for defamation, claiming Casey and her attorneys tried to shift the blame from Casey and Zanny the Nanny onto him.
Kronk claimed that Casey Anthony's attorneys called him a killer, a child snatcher, and morally bankrupt.
Additionally, Jose Baez, I always want to say Joan Baez.
Jose Baez told the jury that Kaylee's death was an accidental pool drowning, and if that were true, then Casey and her attorneys knew their statements about Cronk were false, per his claim.
Cronk also sued the National Enquirer and bounty hunter Leonard Padilla for defamation, because Padilla was the one who bailed Casey out of jail.
And Cronk's case was stalled by five years because of Casey's bankruptcy filing.
By 2020, Judge Virginia Hernandez Covington sided with Casey Anthony and dismissed Cronk's lawsuit because Casey Anthony testified she had no idea how her lawyers were accusing Cronk of the crime.
I think they're out in six months.
