And to what extent is the meditation a kind of escape from the work or sort of form of pause which can then inform the work in a quite direct way?
There's it's really interesting, there was a comment that you made in an interview where you talked about how when you're really immersed in your work in the period of making a body of work, the world becomes an ever changing fluid.
I love this idea that that the world is somehow changed by the concentration into the work.
And that feels like a meditative process in a world.
It is about flow states and energies and so on.
If you could live with just one work of art, what would it be?
Oh wow, okay.
Tell us why.
Yeah.
I mean it's that sort of immense physicality that we were talking about with Corinth earlier on and and Monk indeed, isn't it?
You know, the the physicality of the paint is astonishing.
But of course it's also just the amazing again, a risk of an image.
It was obviously created for a private interpretation at the in its time, but has become an enormously famous public image.
And so therefore and it still has that power to it shouldn't, really, in some ways, but it still has that.
Power to shock.
Yeah, it can have that amazing directness, that amazing confrontational power.
Yeah, yeah, indeed.
