I mean, Pep always tries to pick a team on form, of course, and what he sees in training of the week.
But I think he also likes to just make sure that he manages people's minutes.
And I suppose...
A good example of that in the week was the fact that he took out Fernandinho, for example, gave him a bit of a rest, but equally took out Phil Foden and brought in David Silva.
So again, there's a couple of changes there which you perhaps wouldn't have expected against a lower league opponent.
But look, there's two games and Pep will be planning for both of these games.
No matter what he tells us in his press conference when he says, look, we're only looking at the next game.
He's not.
He knows full well he's got Man Utd away and then Arsenal in the middle of next week.
So he's got to manage the minutes and rotate the players.
So I think, yeah, absolutely, we'll see a tweak to the lineup, certainly from the last game against Sheffield Wednesday.
And it'll look, I guess, a little bit more like the team that played against Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup final.
Because if you're looking at the two games, absolutely, this is the most important one, the City win out of the two.
But they'll be confident.
You know, Arsenal have not
They've made improvements under Mikel Arteta, haven't they?
No doubt about that.
But they've not necessarily had a huge upturn in performance.
I think City will be confident going into that game.
So I think this one is all about making sure they have bragging rights.
