The tough thing for Pinango is they need him being in a focal point spot in the lineup every day.
So he's learning on the fly of it.
He's not getting all these opportunities to sit back and watch Nathan Lucas play left field maybe a couple times a week while he's sitting on the bench.
They need him out there all the time.
And so he's going to have to learn in the heat of battle, essentially.
Yeah, I think it's absolutely necessary.
And what Spencer Miles has given them is fantastic.
He's been amazing.
That's still not really traditional starting volume that he's giving them.
It's really on the low end of starting volume in terms of innings and pitches.
If you're looking at it, that's on the high end in terms of production and run prevention.
So they'll take that.
But you can't run two of those.
I mean, you're talking about your bullpen being absolutely spent.
You're probably going to have some sort of
you know, another version of Miles where, like, are they available for you some days out of a pen?
Are they not?
And if not, then they're just another person going three innings for you every five days.
That's not really going to work for the Blue Jays to have two players like that.
So I think they have to have someone starting.
