Dansby Swanson's been declining offensively for a while, but it was more he's a league average hitter.

He's kind of cratered a little bit offensively so far this year.

He's hitting ninth for them right in the middle of that mega deal.

That's not exactly what they were hoping for, even though he can still pick it over at shortstop.

And then they're just, you know, they're relying upon some different guys.

They just optioned Ballesteros to AAA.

And that's a guy who, you know, going into the year was supposed to be a big, big part of their club.

So it's weird.

I mean, they still have the potential, I think, to be...

a pretty good baseball team, but they, as they've shown already, might have one of the biggest kind of deviations or range of possibilities because I could see a lot of their guys turning it around, some pitchers getting healthy and then performing.

And I could see some veteran pitchers not coming back and some veteran players continuing to decline.

And this ending up being a team that is below 500 by the end of the year, even though at one point they were close to, if not double-digit games, above 500.

And so it's...

It's really funky.

I don't exactly know what to make of them.

I could see them coming out and playing pretty well this weekend.

I could easily see it going the other way and the Blue Jays continuing to roll against another team that might not be or that the Blue Jays might be seeing at the exact right time.
