I think that the thing about them were, as I said, Liquid is a forever API.
And like we have this commitment at Shopify and like Toby will say no to anything that breaks any site, right?
And anything that does break any site, like you're going to hear about it.
And with Liquid especially, that is like any changes I'm like bringing to him.
And so...
If you deployed Snowdevil, the first site 22 years ago, it still runs today and it's going to run as long as we're around and hopefully improve over time.
The problem is a lot of people thought that these things already worked.
Technically, they did work.
Technically, it wouldn't error out and show you like a 404 or like a 500 error.
What we did was we had this lax parser.
Relaxed, I guess.
But like lax parser.
And so if you said, you know, one plus one in curly brackets...
it would actually output one.
I said true in my talk, but it's actually one, I think.
