Mike Brown's a defensive coach, but relative to what people think about this unit and where they've been, like to say they played over their head defensively, at least from a statistical standpoint, would be the biggest understatement of the 2026 NBA season.
They literally played like the best defense of all time from a certain statistical perspective.
There are other numbers that make it less impressive and things like that, but what you cannot take away is that they played really, really good defense in the playoffs that was really successful.
